About us
We have been involved with Home Automation since Dec 2019. It all started when the energy prices of Electric and Gas started to increase, little did we realise just how high it was going to go up during 2022/23. Starting with our own home, Initially turning lights off automatically was an improvement, however our Smart Heating was a game changer, saving 23% on Electric and 70% on Gas. We also had a Heat Loss Survey done which showed a lot of drafts and the efficiancy of our radiators was rubbish. After our sucess, we expanded our implementation to all other aspects of home automation, which includes voice activation, presence sensors, shopping lists, family diary, geo location & entertainment.		⇧

 

Heating
	Not only saving the wear and tear on your boiler, by only heating the rooms you need to heat, combining this with our HomeKonex Control System will save you even more money. This will allow you to run the house at a higher temperature while still saving the same amount of money. Occupancy Scheduling - Automatically change your homes enviroment depending who is in it, down to individual rooms or area's. Weather Reaction - Deal with cold snaps or heat waves, allowing your home to respond to unscheduled climate changes. Heat Loss Survey - This is a good place to start when trying to reduce your energy costs, this Will tell you if your home is leaking heat, so leaking money. Also this will tell you the efficiency of your radiators and if your system will benefit from system clean & service.	⇧

 

CCTV
As a standalone system or intergrated with our Konex Hub, Reolink combines reliability with quality. Subscription FREE - There is no need to pay exspensive subscription fee's, our system follows our ethos of keep everything local and only paying once. Quality Protection - No point having a CCTV if the footage is unuseable, with a minimum of 5MP lens & night vision, our camera's will give you the best quality for your budget. Intergrating your camera system with our Konex Hub will allow you to control outside lights with the camera's, isulating false triggers ie (trigers from wildlife and moving trees).		⇧

 

Lighting
	Control all your lighting and set the mood of the room depending on presence and actions. automatically turn off unneeded lighting when not needed, saving you money. No more need to run around after everyone turning off unneeded lights and appliances, by using presence sensors, we are able to do this automatically. Automation while keeping traditional switches. No matter how easy and intuitive we make our dashboards, there will always be those people that wont get on with it also guests that may not have access. It is important to not alienate them so we are able to retro fit our controllers into existing systems.	⇧

 

Voice Assistant
Controlling your lights, switches & heating via voice is an important part of the Konex Hub. Integration - Amazon Alexa & Google Home are both well presented in our system, but now there is a 3rd option. Our very own Voice Assistant "Jarvis" that also wont take your requests to the internet as he works totally locally.		⇧

 

FAQ's
What is the starting Price?	This is a difficult question to answer as every customer has different needs with different size properties, however you could start with our Smart heating, which would intantly save you money.
Do you have a starter system?	Yes, you can start small and grow as you go, many start with gates & doors with a few lights. Then it is easy to add and exspand your automation coverage. If you can dream it, we can do it.
What support do you offer?	We offer full support for the first 3 months to iron out any gremlins, after that we recommend a 12 mouthly service call, which allows us to check batteries and update any firmwares.
Can I get a Heat Loss Survey on it own?	Yes you can, especially if you are local to us. we will give you heat pictures from the outside of the house along with heat pictures of all windows, doors, radiators & outside walls.	⇧
